What is the difference between a Far East and European production?
Huge quantities can be produced within shorter periods and inexpensive in the Far East.
Production times are shorter due to the larger production capacities, even when taking into consideration the delivery periods to Europe.
Is there a difference in quality between a Far East and European production?
No, our production partners are ISO-certified, or they have a similar qualification. Every production is checked by our inspectors on site according to our quality standards. The products are only cleared for shipment after these checks.

What is the minimum quantity?
All orders are custom-made and do not make use of warehouse goods. Therefore a minimum quantity, which guarantees efficient and economic production, is essential.

What different terms of sale are used?
- DDP - Delivered Duty Paid (Used for shipments within the EU)
"Delivered Duty Paid" means that KMS fulfills his obligation to deliver when the goods have been made available at the named place in the country of importation. KMS has to bear the risks and costs, including duties, taxes and other charges of delivering the goods thereto, clear for importation.
- DDU - Delivered Duty Unpaid (Used for shipments outside of the EU)
A Term of Sale where KMS fulfills his obligation to deliver when the goods have been made available at the named place in the country of importation. KMS has to bear the costs and risks involved in bringing the goods thereto (excluding duties, taxes and other official charges payable upon importation) as well as the costs and risks of carrying out customs formalities. The buyer has to pay any additional costs and to bear any risks caused by failure to clear the goods for in time.
